Conditon of the set is as new, with the jackets slightly worn along edges with small chips and tears but still in very good condition. We obtained this set directly from the publlisher over fifty years ago, it has never been privately owned. . Author accompanied Krusenstern on his circumnavigation of the world, but left the expedition to journey to the Aleutian Islands and to Russian Alaska. A fine set.
