NARRATIVE OF THE ADVENTURES AND SUFFERING OF SAMUEL PATTERSON, EXPERIENCED IN THE PACIFIC OCEAN AND MANY OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD, WITH AN ACCOUNT OF THE FEEGEE, AND SANDWICH ISLANDS
Palmer, (MA):From the Press in Palmer May 1, 1817. 1st edition. 144pp. Hardcover. Full leather binding, well worn and scuffed, with wear to all edges, spine ends and edge points worn to boards. Spine label chipped on one side. There is a horizontal split to the leather on the front cover running edge to edge. Edges of spine are worn along gutters, but with covers still firmly attached. Internally, various owners names are inked to inside front board and 1st free end-page, with original owners name inked to top of page iii, (preface), and again to rear inside board with an additional inscription gifting the book to his son on the last page. Paper throughout is age-toned with occasional stains, an old damp stain to bottom edges and a few small chips and tears to margins. Overall, a good solid copy. *Sabin:59145
