Hardcover.  Bound in quarter leather with marbled boards, with leather label on spine strip.  Leather worn and scuffed, with marbled boards worn, and edge points worn to boards. Internally end-pages age toned with an inked inscription to 1st free end-page and several penciled notes on 1st and 2nd free end-page. First and last few pages have old damp stains along top edges, with some age-toning and darkening to pages scattered throughout. The frontispiece has outside edge worn, as well as several of the plates in the rear of the title.  The binding is tight and hinges have started.  A good solid copy.
