Hardcover.  Black boards lightly soiled and shelfworn, with wear along edges and spine ends. Gilt on spine dulled. Internally, end-pages age-toned, with a previous owenrs inscription to 1st free end-page and an embossed stamp to half-title page. The title page is signed/inscribed by the author, crossing out his printed name.  Otherwise paper is slightly age-toned throughout but clean. The binding is tight and hinges intact.  *Inscribed to William Barbour, who worked for the American Federation for the Blind, lining up authors to read all or parts of their books for the Talking Books program.
