Boston:David R. Godine. 1972. 1st edition, one of 1900 copies. 39pp. Illustrated with wood engravings by Michael McCurdy and signed by McCurdy on the half title page. Hardcover with dust jacket.  A very good, clean copy inside and out with a very good, slightly edgeworn dust jacket. *"Sarah Kemble Knight was born in Boston in 1666, the daughter of a merchant. About 1689 she married Richard Knight, a bricklayer, carver and publican also of that town. After her husbands death, Madam Knight managed a rather large household and shop on Moon Street. There is a possibility she served as a scrivener and amanuensis as well during this time. She died in New London in 1727."...dj.
