About 1689 she married Richard Knight, a bricklayer, carver and publican also of that town. After her husbands death, Madam Knight managed a rather large household and shop on Moon Street. There is a possibility she served as a scrivener and amanuensis as well during this time. She died in New London in 1727."...dj.
