Hardcover.  Red boards sunfaded along  bottom inch of front and rear board with what looks like a bit of silverfish grazing along the top and bottom of the front board. Internally, the previous owners bookplate, a E. Hubert Litchfield, is attached to the inside front board but otherwise pages are clean. The binding is tight with hinges intact.
