Hardcovers.  Ex-library, with typical markings, including numbers at base of spine strip, bookplate inside front boards, library stamp to title page over title with discard stamp over that, remains of card envelops to inside rear boards and rear end-paper and small stamps (small circular with 3 initials inside circle) to most plates and maps.  Aside from the library markings, a very good clean copy.  The boards are clean with gilt still bright and light wear to spine ends. Internally, aside from library markings the pages are clean. No foxing to plates but some of the folding plates have wear and creases to edges.
