Hardcover.  Red boards decorated on front cover in gilt, with title in gilt on spine, is lightly soiled, rubbed and shelfworn with light wear along edges, spine ends, and edge points.  Gilt on spine is almost completely rubbed off. Internally clean, free of previous owners marks or signatures. All plates are present as called for and in very good condition. The binding is tight with hinges intact.  A very good copy.
