Hardcover.  Brown blind-stamped boards with title in gilt on front cover and spine strip, soiled and shelfworn, with gilt quite dulled on spine strip, and an old damp stain to front board. The edges and spine ends are lighlty worn with edge points gently bumped and worn to boards. Internally, 2nd free end page has previous owners penciled inscription and name and someone has drawn a grid to the 2nd to last free end-page but othewise, aside from an occasional smudge, a good, clean copy.  The binding is tight and hinges intact, however the first and last free end-pages have started to seperate from top and bottom edges.
