Hardcover.  Blue covers soiled and quite shelfworn with edges of spine strip rubbed with material starting to seperate. Both ends of spine strip worn and starting to fray, with a small tear to top edge; wear to all edges, and edge points gently bumped and worn to boards. Gilt decoration on front cover dulled. Internally, end-pages age-toned with a previous owners name to 1st free end-page. Otherwise foxing and age-toning scattered throughout.  The binding is tight with hinges intact. A good solid copy, of an early book on aquariums.
