Hardcover with glasine dust wrapper with remains of paper wrappers, in pieces. Purple boards with gilt decoration on front cover and title in gilt on spine in very good, clean condition. Top edges gilt.  Internally, end-pages slightly age-toned with a previous owners bookplate to inside front board, otherwise aside from light foxing scattered throughout, a very good copy. The binding is tight and hinges intact.  The glassine dust wrapper has darkened wtih age, and has several chips and tears to edges and folds.  The remains of a heavier paper dust jacket, in pieces, is laid in.
