Hardcover.  Black boards with title and decoration in gilt on front cover still bright, but dulled on spine, slightly soiled and shelfworn, with wear along edges, spine ends and edge points. Top edges gilt. Internally, end-pages just ever so slightly age-toned, with a previous owners name penciled to top of 1st free end-page, otherwise pages clean and bright.  The half title has a small margin tear to outer edge, but otherwise a very good copy.
