Light soiling to page edges, with one small drop of something to fore-edge, between pages 197 and 209 which does intrude onto outer margins. Internally, decorated end-pages as well as first and last few pages age-toned but free of previous owners marks or signatures. There is an old bookseller ticket to bottom inside edge of 1st free end- page. Otherwise a very good, clean copy. The binding is tight with hinges intact. *Wright III: 5911.
