Hardcover.  Pebbled green boards with title in gilt on front cover and spine strip lightly soiled and shelfworn, with wear along edges, spine ends starting to fray and edge points worn to boards. Gilt is dulled.  Internally, end pages lightly age toned and the 1st free end-page has been removed. Rear end-pages have previous owners names written in ink on last free end-page and pencil on inside rear board. Otherwise, an occasional spot of foxing or smudges scattered throughout. Frontispiece still has its tissue guard. The binding is tight with hinges intact.
