[16], 368, [36] pps. Signatures: A4a4B-T4 (T4 blank) U-3E4 3F2. Hardcover. Very good condition. Full calf, cambridge style binding with title in gilt on spine. Some scuffing to front and rear. Corners bumped and worn to boards. Spine ends and edges shelf-worn. Gutters cracked in places but not separated. Some wear to spine label. Light soiling throughout with a water stain running from A-F which does not affect the legibility of the text. Some other stains present. Previous owner’s book plate on the front pastedown. Mistakes in the text edited by hand (eg. on pg. XX a duplicate “unto” has been crossed out.) Overall a clean, handsome copy of an early account of the characters involved in the reformation in England. *Wing, H1703.
