Very good copy bound in vellum with a fine engraved title page by Cornelis Claeszoon Duysend depicting the myth of Europa and the bull between two scenes of the Bosporus. Vellum is soiled in places with significant discoloration on spine strip. Ex libris of the Blair Adams Library on verso of first flyleaf with owner’s plate of Lawrence S. Moore opposite. Otherwise, interior is clean, and pages are bright. Binding is tight and hinges are intact.
