Boston:Little, Brown and Company. 1940. 309pp + 5pp bibliography. Binding shows some wear to the edges and spine ends. Otherwise lightly soiled and in good condition. Interior is clean, bright and free of stray markings, save for a previous owner's signature at the top of the first free end-paper. Overall, a good, tight copy.

Book is in very good condition aside from a bit of a nick to the base of the spine which corresponds to a tear in the dust jacket at the same place. Also, a bit of dust residue to page edges. Along with a number of critical studies, contains an extensive bibliography of women writers from Louisiana.
