THE NEW MAYFLOWER. HER DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION
Barre, Massachusetts: Barre Gazette. 1958. 164 pp  Illustrated, with 3 plans in envelop attached to inside rear board. Hardcover with dust jacket. Blue boards slightly shelfworn along edges with edge points bumped. Internally, a previous owners name is inked to the 1st free end page, otherwise a very good, clean copy. Rear free fly-leaf is browned from a newspaper clipping left to long. The 3 plates in rear pocket present.  The binding is tight but very slightly cocked, with hinges intact.  The dust jacket is soiled, still in one piece but with evidence of silverfish grazing, with small holes to the front flap fold and the front spine fold.  Still overall, a very good copy.

There is a previous owners embossed stamp on the lower outside edge of the first free end-page. The dust jacket is still in one piece but is quite foxed/soiled and edges are worn/chipped. S107.

Covers show some moderate wear, most notably to the edges, the length of the spine, and mild creasing to the front cover lengthwise running down the side of the spine. There are also some faded areas scattered across the front. Otherwise in good condition. Interior is clean, bright and free of stray markings, save for the author's signature on the first free end-paper and a previous owner's signature a the top left corner of the inside-front wrap. Overall, a good copy.
