Green boards lightly shelfworn and soiled with wear to edges. Internally, no previous owners marks or signatures. Age toning to end-papers and foxing scattered throughout, especially on pages surrounding plates. The dust jacket is soiled and shelfworn, with wear to edges and seams. Some small tears repaired on the inside of the jacket with tape. Overall, a very good copy.

Covers lightly rubbed with shelf-wear to edges. Internally, no previous owners marks or signatures. Overall, a very good copy. * A general history of the shipyard with a detailed history and list of all ships built at the shipyard.
London:Norie and Wilson. 1886. pp. 64+xv+(9) ads. Illustrated. Hardcover. Blue boards with gilt on front cover still bright however another cover has at some point been stuck to this cover, and they did not seperate cleanly. Internally, end-pages are lightly age toned/foxed, the color frontispiece and title page is lightly foxed, but otherwise, aside from soiling to page edges, in very good, clean condition. The binding is tight and hinges still intact.

Original blue boards with title in gilt on spine; both volumes show some light shelf-wear and soiling. Both spines also show some sun-fading. Otherwise in very good condition. Interiors are clean, bright and free of stray markings, though there is some age-toning to the page edges throughout with some scattered foxing, often opposite plates. Overall, this is a very good set.
