Mexico: Editorial Polis. 1940. Softcover. xx+472pp. Very Good condition. Wrappers have heavy handling grime and heavy wear, particularly around the edges where there is creasing and chipping. There is a penned inscription on the ffep. Inside the contents are a bit age toned, but are clean and unmarked. After p340, the pages are uncut. There is no foxing and the binding is secure. Overall a very nice copy but in tired wrappers.  Don Vasco de Quiroga was a 16th Century judge and Catholic bishop in New Spain. (cfm)
