Gilt on covers and spines dulled, with shelf-wear to spine ends of both volumes. Internally, volume 1 has a previous owners signature to the top edge of the 2nd fep, otherwise the pages are clean and bright. Volume 2 has the same signature but it is on the last fep, upside down, on the bottom edge. The bindings are tight and hinges intact. Overall, a very good set

Jacket is worn at the edges and spine with several small chips and tears in addition to a few small pieces missing. Covers are also lightly soiled. Otherwise in fair condition. Book itself is only mildly shelf-worn. Interior is clean, bright and free of stray markings, though there is just a touch of age-toning to the page edges. Overall, this is a very good copy with a fair dust jacket.
